The nozzles model OH-UPR for upright installation and model OH-PX2 for pendent installation are designed for effective and reliable protection against fire risks of a category OH2 (Ordinary Hazard group 2) and of a category OH3 (Ordinary Hazard group 3) according to the European standard CEN EN 14972 or OH1/OH2 (Ordinary Hazard) according to the American standard NFPA.

The OH-UPR and OH-PX2 nozzles are part of the low pressure water mist system FIREKILL™ and are specially designed to maximize the protected area while using a minimum amount of water. The different installation options allow implementation of the most effective fire protection solutions for premises of various volume and characteristics with medium and high fire load.

Approvals and typical applications

The OH-UPR nozzle has been successfully tested and approved in accordance with VdS car park test protocol, implemented in the European standard CEN/prEN 14972:2016, part 5. The OH-UPR nozzle is designed for fire risk protection in the category OH2 - "Enclosed Car Parks" (according to CEN EN 14972). This category covers the following applications: Car park garages, Non-automatic, fully enclosed garages and Underground garages.

The OH-PX2 nozzle has been successfully tested and approved in accordance with VdS fire test protocol category ОH3 (ST1 и ST5/6), implemented in the European standard CEN/prEN 14972:2016, part 2. The OH-PX2 nozzle is designed for fire risk protection in the category ОН3 - „Shops, Storage Areas and Technology Areas” (according to CEN EN 14972). This category covers the protection of: Inventories in sales, storage and technology areas enclosed by OH1 areas, Storage areas and Shopping areas.
